YOU DESERVE TO FEEL GOOD
What happens in a Pelvic floor therapy session?
During your first visit, we will go over all of the symptoms and complaints you have, and go into detail on your medical history and lifestyle. We will assess posture, mobility, and strength of areas nearby areas. We will likely do an internal assessment of the pelvic floor if needed, in order to palpate tissues that could be causing symptoms. From this, we will develop a plan of care and discuss exercises to be completed at home.
What if I am menstruating for an appointment?
No problem! Whatever you feel comfortable with is fine! We can pause on internal manual therapy at any time. I commonly treat women menstruating.
Where are you located?
I am currently only seeing patients in their homes or telehealth.
Do I need a script to see you?
No! I am a doctor of physical therapy and a primary care provider. In the state of Michigan you do not need a script to see me! I may ask about previous gynecology testing or exams, and may communicate with other doctors as needed for you.
Do you take my insurance?
At this time I am out of network with all insurance carriers. This allows a better standard of care one-on-one with a doctor of physical therapy with no restrictions or limitations in visits. We can better track progress and make treatment highly personalized. Typically, this model requires fewer visits, faster recovery, and no surprise bills.
Where do you travel to?
I live in Macomb, MI. I see patients from Macomb, Shelby Township, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Washington, and Romeo. I also treat via telehealth if you are not located in the area!
